THE CHARM BAR
You can find our vintage charm bars in both our Railway Arch and Parsons Green Depot stores.
You choose a chain and can then select as many charms as you wish, to add to the bracelets or necklaces. Most people choose 5, 7 or 9 charms, but this is totally up to you to decide what you feel works best for you.
Prices start from £20 for a 18ct gold plated, or silver plated, vintage chain, plus 5 charms, but this is just a guide and price may vary a little, depending on how many charms you choose.
Do fill out the booking form below if you wish to be assured of a place, as on some days we do get heavily booked in the charm room. Please note that we cannot guarantee a place in the charm room, unless we have had this booking. This applies to parties of 5 people and above only. Parties of less than that can come on a walk in basis. If there is no room in the charm room, we will find you another space. We have never had to turn people away from making their jewellery yet
DID YOU KNOW THAT WE HOST PRIVATE CHARM JEWELLERY MAKING EVENTS TOO?
We can host Christmas parties, birthday parties, girls nights, corporate entertainment evenings, historical educational workshops, and even hen nights (even if we do regret hosting some of these!).
You have the choice of Daytime events and Evening events.
DAYTIME PARTIES
We can accommodate up to 21 people for an indoor daytime private party.
Groups of 4 or less: There is no need to book - come at any time when the store is open (11am to 6pm), and we will be able to find a workspace for you.
Groups of 5 or more: Please let us know in advance that you wish to book, from what time, and how many people. We will make a reservation for you. Use the booking form below.
On the day we ask you, in advance of your visit, to email, text or call to double confirm numbers and estimated time of arrival. We cannot hold a reserved space beyond 15 minutes of your agreed arrival, unless you have been in touch and let us know you are running late.
If you have any special requests, just ask in advance and we can advise.
EVENING PARTIES
We can accommodate up to 21 people in the charm room for an indoor evening private party. However, if you are happy to separate your party into two, we can additionally add another 15 people in the showroom too. You can easily mingle between the charm room and the showroom. (NB - 21 in the charm room is absolute max capacity. 15 is roomier!)
These are held from 6.30pm onwards, and are for a minimum of 12 people. You can book for less people if you wish but you must meet our minimum spend of £20 pp (for 12 people) to cover our costs - you can always make up any shortfall in extra jewellery so should not be a problem for you.
You are welcome to bring your own drinks (soft or alcoholic) and snacks (there is a Co-op and Little Waitrose just minutes away) - we provide glasses. Let us know in advance if you need ice. We provide music of your choice. Let us know if there are any special requests and we will do our best to accommodate (early notice required).
Extras of course to be paid for, but only at our actual cost price.
We do not charge for the charm parties as long as everyone makes a charm bracelet or necklace (or buys some other jewellery). £20 a head covers our costs. Your group are welcome to browse the public area of the store as well during the evening, and can purchase additional items of jewellery from there, if desired.
